Published May 1, 2017 - PRESS RELEASE - Anna Beaudry, a Vancouver Photographer, received an Excellence score in the Professional Photographers of Canada's Master Competition at the Canadian Imaging Conference in Ottawa, Ontario.
The Master’s Image Competition was created to encourage Master photographers to compete against other Master of Photographic Arts recipients and to encourage non-MPA’s to continue to strive towards a higher level of achievement. It is open only to Master Photographers who have earned that designation through their consistent work in giving back to the photography community, continued education, success in image competition and volunteerism.
"It's a true honour to receive such recognition from my peers - those who know best the technical challenges and subtle nuances in photography. I certainly wouldn't be at this level of competition without my fabulous tribe guiding me through!" said Beaudry.
This image also went on to become part of the PPOC permanent Loan Collection. The loan collection is an elite group of 40 top scoring images representing the highest level of excellence of photographs in Canada.
